At the Lady Bloggers' Night, I got presents!

There's no better way to kick-start a weekend than having a night of laughter, gossips, food and food. That night with the ladies was such an experience. The conversations were endless, I've never seen that much cameras being laid on one table. The committee did one swell job and whoever brought that peaches & cream is a genius and the hummus made my belly smile. There was beriyani and sushi - t'was an international buffet - Empire doesn't stand a chance.

My first impression when I met everyone was "lawa-lawa jua dorang ani ah". I was greeted by the lovely Emma and seated already were Amie Heidi & Yeeman, then more gorgeous faces came. We all did an impromptu introduction upon greeting and of course there were those I've already known; cantek Mamalobengs, bubbly Tina and sweet Danura. I wish I could give everyone a mention, please excuse me for not.

I thought the heavy rain was gonna disrupt the whole evening - nope. The camera flash was mightier than the lightning. *May lightning don't strike me for saying that* We all went (camera) trigger-happy that evening and as my colleague in the office would say it, camera sluts.

I personally love the dinner bit, the conversations were hilarious. I've learned a few important "life" pointers at the dinner table:

• Plucking is more nyaman than threading.
• Millipedes are delicacies and contained proteins.
• Bats' urine can never cause baldness - t'was just an urban legend.
• There is more than one way to relieve a windy stomach - and I regretted not doing a demo that night.

Now, I look forward to seeing all those pictures, come on Rano and Mizi, hurryyyy.
